I use this resource in conjunction with SOMOS 1, the units focused on clothes like “Botas Picudas” and “El Hábito de San Antonio.” I love how it gives the students more clothing vocabulary in an interactive, acquisition based method.

Alivia B. –
I had never done a gallery walk before, but I hung the images up in the hallway. They walked around with the answer sheet with the Spanish descriptions and wrote the names. The kids enjoyed it because it had words from our vocab sheet and a few extra words from our word wall. It was comprehensible but also challenged them a little.
Ciana P. –
This was a great activity to practice clothing with my Spanish I students. I used the digital option for students who were absent that day. It was great to have both options.
Stephanie H. –
This was a great activity for my students. I did this activity as a gallery walk and taped the pictures on different parts of the wall. That worked the best. I also like that it came with a “Guess Who” activity which I used as a reinforcement activity before a quiz. It worked well.

This worked well and was just the right level of difficulty.

Samantha V. –
This Gallery Walk worked well in my 8th grade Spanish I class towards the end of the year. I laid the descriptions on desk. Students appreciated the opportunity to move around the room individually or in pairs to read the descriptions. I collected all papers at the end, but I put an online stopwatch on the board and told students the first 3 students to finish and get everything correct would get candy. Was enjoyable!
Jeanette A. –
Great!
Amy R. –
good resource
Senora Bee –
My students used the digital version of this activity. It was very helpful in applying clothing vocabulary. One improvement would be adding a slide that has every person pictured that I can leave up on the board, only because on the Chromebooks the images were very small without zooming in. I was very satisfied with this project. Thank you!
Kosmik Teaching –
This comprehensive activity included so much more than I had realized before purchasing. Not only are there descriptors and fun images, but Srta. Spanish has additional materials for games and activities within this resource. It was a great way to review clothing and colors with my students.

high engagement!
Liyan K. –
I love this resource! Easy activity for students and I make it a race to see who can do it correctly the fastest. However, it seems the Answer Key for the Read & Match is not in the document, so grading it took a little longer. But other than that I love it 🙂
MaestraHowe –
My students enjoyed this activity. I can’t wait for classes to be somewhat back to normal. I plan to post the pictures around the room and let students search for the answers. For now, it was a very easy-to-use distance learning assignment.
Laura O. –

Janelle A. –
Very nice pictures. I liked that the people were labeled with names instead of numbers. Attractive slides without errors. Would recommend.
Jordan B. –
This was a great resource. Students loved it and it works well digitally also. The only issue was the description of Sr. March’s clothes, but I see that has been fixed. Huge time saver and multiple uses for this. 🙂
JESSICA F. –
Students liked using this activity. It is great practice for clothing items and colors. -The three star review is due to some spelling errors in the descriptions when using los and las, and the colors as well for example with Sr. March is definitely wearing black pants but the description says brown.
Ashley Mikkelsen –
Hey! Thanks for taking the time to leave feedback. I took a second look and his pants definitely do look black so I’ll update that! I’ve reread the descriptions a few times (I’m assuming you mean the “CAMINA, LEE, ESCRIBE” pages?), and I didn’t see any agreement errors in the check, but if there’s something else my eyes are missing please feel free to reach out so I can update it for any future use! My email is ashley@srtaspanish.com

La Mariposa Spanish Lessons –
I am a private Spanish tutor and I have used this resource with 5th graders all the way to adults for one-on-one classes. I love how it integrates a visual component of looking at each person with clothing vocabulary (-: I have my students answer the questions verbally first and then have them take it home to complete the writing.
Alicia LeClair –
This resource was great for reviewing/learning “la ropa” vocabulary but it would have been even better if it was editable or if the images were larger and some of the descriptions were a bit more straightforward. Some of my students got confused on several of them because the colors were not exactly clearly blue or black or brown for example. Overall though I appreciated the effort that was put into this resource!
Ashley Mikkelsen –
Hi! This resource cannot be editable due to the Terms of Use for the clip art, but did you see on your My Purchases page that this resource has been updated in the past? There are two different sizes for the images to help offer a larger size – a smaller card, plus a half page option!
Thanks for the feedback!
Megan’s Magnificent Materials –

This was a great resource, and I liked the options for how to use it! Thanks!
Maria P. –
My students enjoyed doing this activity! It was perfect, I just wish there was a version with bigger pictures. This year I have two VI students and I had to modify the pictures for them and sometimes the quality of the picture is lost when you do that. Other than that, it is great!! 🙂
Ashley Mikkelsen –
Thanks so much for your feedback! I updated this product to include half page sizes of the images. Those are much larger and should help if you have that need in the future!
Tara G. –

Shin’s Specials –
This product offers so much reading practice, plus 3 different activities for using the cards for input, writing, and conversation. I love how the characters represent a wide variety of teens and adults. The sentences are well-crafted so students can’t just look at one detail, but instead will likely have to read and reread to make sure they get the right person. Thanks for sharing!
Tara Brown –
Fun and easy to implement! I love to get kids up and moving. Thank you for creating another quality product! 🙂
