Description

Get your students moving with this activity! Students answer the prompt using the image on the bottom half, then find the answer around the room. When they find the answer, they go to it, and complete the next prompt, repeating until they have completed the circle! Some students like to race to see who can finish the loop fastest, others work at their own pace. Students can begin at any prompt and practice, checking their work as they go. Students practice writing sentences with demonstrative adjectives, according to prompts, using a mix of common, basic vocabulary words with classroom supplies as well as clothing.

    I’ve never seen a corre en circulos activity made like this with the pictures, but what a perfect way to practice the demonstrative adjectives!

    I think this activity was something that made students slow down and use their notes, but it can become confusing. I think the images and text are very similar so it trips kids up amost automatically

    My students struggled a little with this resource, but it was also their very first time doing it, so I know that was part of the reason. I had to modify it by hand because they do not know “aquel/aquella” yet, so I printed it and then used white out and made some changes. Overall, I enjoy how these make my students get up and moving!

    This is the 2nd Corre en Círculos that I have used (the first one with this class), and the students were very engaged. This one especially made them think, as some of the matches were very similar to each other; it’s a challenging topic. I love that the students can see if they have made a mistake if they get back to where they started too early or start repeating somewhere in the middle.
