Get your students moving with ¡Corre en Círculos! Students answer the prompt, then find the answer around the room. When they find the answer, they go to it, and complete the next prompt, repeating until they have completed the circle!
Students answer the prompt, then find the answer around the room. When they find the answer, they go to it, and complete the next prompt, repeating until they have completed the circle! Some students like to race to see who can finish the loop fastest, others work at their own pace. Students can begin at any prompt and practice, checking their work as they go.
Prompts vary depending on the activity – they might read a description of a vocabulary word, see a subject and an infinitive to conjugate, or look at an image to describe it!
This means that you effectively get 5% back on everything you buy, plus extra points for feedback. Points are valid for one year and can be used for anything in the store!
I used this with a couple of different levels of Spanish.

This is honestly one of the best buys! Students love corre and there are multiple ways to use it. If you are a Spanish teacher and have not tried this out yet, do it! Students are engaged and enjoy it. It helps them practice concepts. If you have not checked out Srta Spanish video on ways to use this resource, I highly suggest this. Again, you will not go wrong with any purchase of “Corre” and in my opinion, anything created by Srta Spanish 🙂
I do laminate my sets and store them. Once they are made you can use them year after year. If you are on a budget for paper, you can also just have students use looseleaf.

I love the products from Srta Spanish. The kids learn so much as they engage in the activities. They love to move around with the ‘corre en circulos’ and it gives me a break when planning… Thank you for this resource!

My students have found these resources engaging and are eager to attempt each one given as a task.
More pictures/drawings similar to those found in the TENER + LOS QUEHACERES set would be a great improvement, as it would helping engaging the visual learners more.

Thank you for your feedback! I will consider adding more image based options. I have found that sometimes those are extra challenging because the images are more open to interpretation in some cases, which can be tricky because if there’s even a little wiggle room it can set them off course in the loop, causing them to retrace their steps. There are a few other sets with images though! Off the top of my head, the fruit/veggies one, el cuerpo, and prepositions of location all have picture options, if you’d like to add those in wherever they fit in your units. I’ll look for more art to update things as I can, too!

This is a great activity for my students as it got them up out of their seats. They were using the following skills; reading, visualization, higher level of thinking tying the image, short written clue together to look for the answer.

I’ve tried making a few of my own, but to have them already done is such a time-saver! It does take some explaining when you first start using them, but we’ve done them so often now the kids know what to do. I’ve found letting them work in pairs is best. Thank you for all the work that went into this resource!

This is an awesome resource! My students are up and moving, practicing what they know and learning on their own. This activity gives me some down time during the busy day and I feel that my students are enjoying the learning. This was very much worth the cost. Thank you, Ashley, for making my professional life more fun and relaxed.

These resources are just the best! They are self-correcting in that if they do not loop back around to the beginning, the student knows there is an issue somewhere. I use both the printed and the digital versions of these as fun classroom movement activities or as homework. They are fabulous!

My co-teacher and I love love LOVE Corre en circulos. We went in on this bundle during the February sales with some credits we earned from reviews as well. WORTH IT. Once they are printed you have them forever, and the kids love it. Anything that gets them out of their seats is a win, and the problem solving and self checking aspect is great. The students are constantly self-assessing.

My students loved this. Even though they were told to complete it individually (preterite vs imperfect, both easy and hard versions) they started to congregate and move through them in groups of 2-3. It ended up working out better than I envisioned for them because they ended up helping each other understand the hows and whys of the correct answer. It was a super review activity before the test. They loved the movement. I was granted special permission to play during covid. They were so excited to not have ANOTHER seated screen activity.

My students love using these – I print them and laminate so I can reuse them many times. You can modify them to cut the “decks” down so it is a shorter, high intensity task. You can time it so it’s a race or you can use it as an assessment. I hang these in the hall outside my room so kids can get up and move. Sometimes it’s a slow walk and sometimes it’s a race. Either way, it’s always fun and there is almost zero prep time after you’ve printed them 🙂
