All students love the Corre en Círculos activities! This is a really good one to start out with for Spanish 2 because they understand the activity quickly. By the time we got to verb conjugations in Spanish 1, we had already done all of Srta Spanish’s other Corre en Círculos activities – and it never gets old. Kids love it and learn from it! 😉

  14. K Porter –

One of my fav activities! I have a bunch of sets. My advance students love these and enjoy the challenge. Students who do not grasp language as easily should work with a partner who can help them otherwise they will give up easily. I also recommend reviewing the endings before letting students start.

  15. Christina Zeoli –

My 7th graders were engaged using this resource. I used it to review before a quiz & it got them up and out of their seats.

  16. Eimy Jimenez –

Used this a few weeks ago and my admin came in to do a quick observation and loved it! I really love that they were all engaged and it was easy to follow. All while learning/reviewing Spanish present tense verbs!

  18. Emma Lopez –

This was great way to encourage movement in the class and I love that I could project the answer key on the Clear Touch in my classroom and allow students to check their work when they were done. I also like how the seller includes variations for this activity. I plan to use those, too to get the most bang for my buck. Muchas gracias por este recurso.

  23. Andrea P. –

One of the few resources I have found that is TRULY no prep! I printed, cut, hung up the easier set, printed the handout and students were off and running (literally, corriendo en circulos hahaha!). They enjoyed it so much I plan to use the harder set next week! Used in a 7th & 8th-grade first-year Spanish class.

  24. Francesc Q. –

This was a wonderful resource that my students just loved! It kept them engaged and focused!

  25. Gloris V. –

Amazing ! My students loved moving around the class and it made them think about the endings of the verbs…
    Thanks!

  26. Ashley M. –

My students love this activity so much! I was hesitant to try it because students are everywhere during this game, but it is one of my go to activities for grammar review. Students stay very engaged with this game.

  27. Fabi M. –

Great activity to keep students moving and learning the present tense conjugations.

  28. Allison Y. –

These are good resources for a quick comprehension check while being fun as well. I always use the digital version because it is easier and less prep.

  29. Grace W. –

My students and I (and let’s be honest, admin if they walk in to observe) LOVE Corre en Circulos. I, however, do NOT enjoy making them so I ALWAYS go to Srta Spanish to find prepared ones that are just print and go. So incredibly helpful and engaging. I love how they give automatic formative feedback to students, keep them active, stimulate their brains by making them go hunt for the next one, and reinforce whatever we are studying. On a nice day, I have taken it outside and it feels even more like a scavenger hunt. Thank you for making so many ready-to-go resources!

  30. Jennifer B. –

This activity really engaged my students and is a great review of verbs!

  31. Lisa H. –

I love that my students were up and moving around the room while using their brains. This is an AMAZING resource!

  32. Rebecca W. –

I love these Corre en círculos activities because it gets the students up and moving! This is a great way to give the students comprehensible input before they start trying to form sentences on their own.

  33. Kathy K. –

These are so great for getting them moving around, off devices, and THINKING! They have to figure out why they can’t find the next answer when they get something wrong, which provides great learning opportunities.

  34. Victoria K. –

My students enjoyed — you do have to stay on top of the kids to make sure the errors don’t mess them up — but it’s a great way to get kids moving!

    • Ashley Mikkelsen –

Yes! I think once they’ve done it a few times they understand that an error will throw them for a loop (literally!) and they’re a bit more careful with them, but at first I totally agree, a little hovering goes a long way!

  35. Ana S. –

Good resource and no prep at all. My students were engaged and is a fun way to reinforce the material. Thank you for a great resource.

  36. Profe Padilla –

Practicing subject verb agreement with this activity is always fun for my classes. They enjoy the movement and the feeling of success when they have the loop figured out.

  37. Yvonne Alvarez –

My students enjoy getting up and completing the activity; so much that I have purchased other similar activities like this.

  38. Isabella V. –

I am not lying when I say that I have 100% engagement in my classes when we do our corre en circulos activities. I have purchased a few versions and my students have even shared with me that it helps them with verb conjugations. This has become a weekly activity in my class, I would highly recommend it.

  39. Kelsey P. –

This is a fun way to get students up and moving around while working on grammar! Love this resource!

  40. Leticia H. –

Thank you for creating this resource. It was great for my students.

  41. Hilary S. –

As usual, my students loved this activity. As an incentive to finish their work in a timely fashion, I let some students hang up the papers around the room. This also gets me more buy-in from students who normally wouldn’t want to get up and walk around because they want to make their classmates really search for the answer they are looking for. Thank you!

    • Ashley Mikkelsen –

I love doing that too! Although sometimes they would hang them up so high I couldn’t get them to move to my next class period! Oh well. Thanks for taking the time to leave feedback!

  42. Amber R. –

My students enjoy the corre en circulos activities. Anything to get them up and moving is a plus!

  43. Katherine M. –

My favorite game to review regular verb conjugation (I do not use the digital way I post in classroom and hallway)

  44. Jody R. –

My students absolutely love doing the Corre en Circulos! It gets them up and moving around, which is so beneficial in a block schedule.

  45. Amanda G. –

It’s been fun to watch my different levels of students work through this particular “Corre” as they age up in language content. The first level students upon first learning conjugations take some time, but by the middle of the year can complete it much faster. Level 2 and 3 students cut that time in half – a great resource for initial teaching and practical review at your fingertips. I laminated all of my cards on bright colored paper (each Corre activity I own has it’s own color so I can delineate between them) to keep for as long as I can!

  46. Melissa R. –

My students love corre en círculos. This was an excellent review of their verbs.

  47. Theresa Colleen –

I love these activities! It’s such a great way to get students up and moving while also practicing.

Tip: I instruct students that they have to start at different printed cards otherwise they just follow each other around.

  48. Mary Z. –

Great activity to get students up and moving. That movement factor helps reinforce what they are learning, so I love seeing everyone engaging and taking their thinking skills to a different level. Sometimes it takes them a while to get the idea, but when they do, it works very well.

  49. Glenda M T. –

My students love this type of activities, where they get to walk around to complete. They were engaged and talking with their partners to find the answer to the prompt.

  50. Maria C F. –

My students and I love corre en circulos! it was engaging and fun.

  51. Annie Rivera –

My students enjoyed being able to get out of their seats and it helped get those “wiggles” out on a Pep Rally Friday. They also commented that it was helpful in their learning of the conjugations. It was easy to prep and it wasn’t as crazy as I thought it would be since it’s not a timed activity. On a nice day I may try to do this outside…we’ll see.

  52. Katie L. –

I love how this activity gets students out of their seats moving around the room, but with purpose. It’s doable even for those who lack confidence.

  53. ashley G. –

This was great! I used it as a sub plan. Students liked it.

  54. Sandra H. –

Ever since I tried a “Corre En Círculos” activity, my students have asked to do another one! I’ve got my cards printed, laminated, and ready to go when school begins again in the fall!

  60. Kristen P. –

I love corre in circulos – my students have a love hate relationship with these 🙂

  61. Staci B. –

I love this activity. It kept the student engaged, and self corrected. If they got back to the place they started before getting to all of the cards, they knew they made a mistake and had to find it. Excellent practice to prepare for the test. Thank you!

  62. Erin S. –

I enjoy giving these activities to my students. They enjoy working to see who can finish first! It is a lot of fun to either do it digitally or all around the room! I love it!

  63. Marya T. –

My students love this activity! takes them a while the first time around but once they focus on the small lettering instead of the bold lettering they LOVE it. Makes class so much more fun, creates community in the classroom and outside. Great way to keep them engaged. I have bought different Corre en Círculos for 101,102, 201 and 202. Great activity online as well, I was able to use during COVID. Gracias Srta. Spanish 🙂

I don’t know where I’d be w/out Srta. Spanish. These “Corre en Círculos” activities are so thoughtful, so well made and so foolproof! Students absolutely love them and it is a great way to practice grammar in a fun, lively manner. (Honestly, I’ve downloaded so many lemons from so many seller on TPT, but it’s the GEM sellers like this one that keep me here). Again, thank you very much for this remarkable set (I have several!).

This is the second Corre en Circulos I have done with my students, both times they have enjoyed it. Allows them to get out of their seats and collaborate with other classmates.

  88. Karen W. –

I got this copied & ready as soon as I bought it = SUCH EASY PREP!! My students LOVED it as a review & I loved to see my students moving about the room completely engaged in learning!!!

This is a fun way for students to practice their knowledge. I hung the verbs up in the school gym, my students got really competitive and some were even running to finish first!

  96. Ashley Arrastia –

My usually unmotivated students really enjoyed this activity. It was nice to see them engaged with the material and each other.

  97. Alejandra C. –

I love using this activity with my students. This encourages them to speak to each other and interact with the language.

  98. Sarah Gaffney –

Corre en círculos is always a win with my students! My only suggestion would be to create contextualized sentences instead of isolated verb conjugation. I always extend this activity by having my students write a sentence using that verb.

  99. StudySpanglish101 –

This was a perfect resource to round out my unit on regular -ar, -er, and -ir present tense verbs for Spanish 1! I’ll probably even use it again to review for both our midterm and final exam! Great product!

    I love this activity!

  111. Leah A. –

My students love doing these “scavenger hunts”–especially if I put the cards outside! They are a great way to practice focused topics and are self-checking. My students at home didn’t miss out either as they have the digital “puzzle” to put in the correct order. Thanks!

  137. Randi D. –

    Love it!

  138. La Cholita Rubia –

The kids loved this! It did take a minute for them to understand the rules, but once they got it, they were having a great time correctly conjugating -ar verbs! I did this with 7th and 8th graders and they really enjoyed it. I really like how they are looking for the answers so they get the satisfaction of knowing the answer as well as reinforcing the correct spelling, etc.

  139. Engaging Spanish for Real Classrooms –

This was a big hit! It was easy to use and my students loved being out of their seats. I find that if you have them stand in front of their starting card and write down the “big word” as their last answer, it helps clarify the directions. Then, you can help the 1 or 2 students who still need a little “personal direction” while everyone else gets started.

  140. Taryn A. –

  148. English with Edwards –

I just did corre en circulos with my Spanish II class to review the present tense verb conjugations and it was AMAZING! I was a little worried about how hard it would be if they got messed up and went out of order, but almost all my students were able to get back on track on their own because they could clearly see their mistake. I’ll definitely be using corre en circulos all the time!

Kids love walking around the room to search for the different verbs. This is a great alternative to a boring worksheet. My students always retain this information after playing!

  178. Joanna J. –

Great way to reinforce the present tense. Kids love it – no more boring worksheets!

  179. Aventuras Nuevas –

    Fun, energetic activity.

  180. Language Mindset –

Engaging way to “teach” verbs! The students wanted to understand why the couldn’t complete the loop and so they had to understand where the verb conjugation error was! It was brilliant. I’m thinking of doing this with a conversation…For example, if I ask…”¿Siempre entregas la tarea a tiempo? The next clue could be something logically to answer that question…”Sí soy muy responsable, nunca tarde para mi!

I like the activity, but there is a mistake which through everything off for my students. The second to last card should be nosotros/aprender not hablar.
