68 reviews for Present Tense Stem Changers Activity ¡Corre en Círculos! with DIGITAL OPTION

  1. Sr. Cactus –

I used this with my Spanish 1 classes to reinforce stem-changing verbs after introducing the concept. The activities kept students engaged while providing the repetition they needed to build confidence with these tricky verb patterns.

  2. Francesc Q. –

Students enjoyed this resource to help them prepare for a test.

  3. Kiley G. –

I love using Corre in Circulos with my students because Srta. Spanish makes it so easy to print and then play! It takes minimal effort on my part yet it is a great review for my students. I also love how you can play it in many different ways.

  4. Priscilla Noble –

I decided to print it as small cards (8 per page), then laminated and used in pairs and triads to “organize” the series. After they completed it some kids came up with the idea to hand them out as playing cards and play “go fish” to find the next corresponding verb. It works really well as they all practice saying each verb each time.

  5. k M. –

Great game to review irregular present tense stem changing verbs. Kids enjoy movement.

  6. Sara D. –

This ¡Corre! was great to help review stem-changing verbs at the end of Spanish 1.

  7. Señorita Spanglish –

Great resource to get students moving! It is also a great independent review for my classes! I like how I can also use it with a sub!

  8. Abigail H. –

Great resource! It was easy to use, well-organized, and saved me a lot of prep time. My students stayed engaged, and moving around. I’ll definitely be coming back for more Spanish resources from this seller. ¡Gracias!

  9. Jennifer B. –

This was a great way to get my students moving and engaged with the review.

  10. Lynn Johnston –

This is a great way to practice a boring grammar topic.

  11. Sara Keys –

It kept them busy and practicing the conjugations! A good modification may be to use the verbs in a sentence. It as also good because if they didn’t find all 25, they knew they messed up at some point. But then it was hard for them to figure out where and the rest of the class was finished. So just be sure to have something else happening at the same time or an incentive to get it done correctly the first time!

  12. maria B. –

Very fun and engaging, perfect way to have students get up

  13. Anna B. –

Great resource! Very easy to use and students were engaged!

  14. Srta. Rod –

Really fun. Very Engaging. Definitively worth it. My students love it!

  15. Stevi V. –

This was a great follow up activity after using the PACE model to introduce stem-changing verbs in Spanish 1. It was an engaging way to get students moving and practicing subject/verb agreement with stem-changers which require a lot of exposure. The resource was definitely worth the purchase! I printed on colorful paper, then laminated and hung these around a common area in our school. I’ve used it in my classroom as well, but for spacing, finding a hallway or student lounge/shared space area is best. I highly recommend these “corre en circulos” activities (I’ve purchased 4 of these).

  16. Meredith G. –

Great activity to review stem changers. I also love that the students are seeing the correct forms over and over again, giving them input so that they notice what the verb looks like in its correct forms. This is a focus on form, not focus on meaning activity. However, you could add on an activity after completing the Corre en Circulos that could ask them to use the verbs in context or identify the correct form in a story.

  17. Amanda K. –

My students love this activity. When they come to class and see the cards posted in the hallway, they get excited knowing that we are about to do this activity in class.

  18. Morgan B. –

Incredibly helpful with helping students practice their stem-changes!

  19. Jeanine F. –

  23. Senorita E –

My students were struggling with stem-changers and this practice really helped them review and remediate! I was very pleased with how this lesson went and how easy this lesson was to prepare. I have purchased several Corre en Círculos activities and I strongly recommend them to teachers looking for a different way to practice conjugation. Plus, it gets students up and moving.

The virtual version of this lesson also makes a great sub plan.

  24. Amanda G. –

Stem changers are the most confusing for level one students – but repetition of sight in how they are used correctly is priceless. Thank you for creating this fun activity for my students to practice this piece of content!

  25. Meghan K. –

These have had years of use at this point and continue to be a useful tool to help practice the grammar points!

  26. ashley G. –

  27. Rachel G. –

My students always enjoy these activities. I usually let them work in a partner to troubleshoot and they seem to be more engaged than on their own.

  28. Delightful Days Happy Learners –

My kids were totally engaged. I was worried that they might find the directions challenging. However, they caught on right away. It is a great activity that incorporates movement to keep them engaged. It is also self-checking, which is so great for practice and review.

  29. Toni M. –

This was the perfect activity to review stem changing verbs. It had my students going around the room and taking a look at the endings.

  30. Sarah W. –

I always love a resource where students get up and out of their seats. I wish there were e to i stem-changers as well to make it a total stem changer practice activity.

  31. Español y Culture –

This is a great activity to get students up and moving and it actually requires to conjugate correctly to finish the activity. This activity helped me ensure students were actually engaged in their learning instead of just copying down answers from a friend at the last minute. Students always love the opportunity to get up and get moving as well!

  37. Miranda S. –

One of my favorite activities to use in my classroom!

This is a great activity for in person, I love that students can move around while having a purpose to reinforce the content being taught. It was great!

  46. Julieanne J. –

When is comes to making class as fun when we are covering grammatical concepts as when we are not is so difficult. I had no clue that making it a get-up-and-move activity would make such a difference!

  47. Alejandra C. –

LOVE LOVE LOVE doing the Corre en Círculos activity. It really encourages kids to talk to each other in Spanish, translate together and correct each other’s mistakes. This has worked better for me when I place students in pairs or groups. Use it as a competition to see who can finish faster and more accurately!
