When they find the answer, they go to it, and complete the next prompt, repeating until they have completed the circle! Some students like to race to see who can finish the loop fastest, others work at their own pace. Students can begin at any prompt and practice, checking their work as they go.

This resource was very helpful for my 8th graders to practice the difference between SER and ESTAR. It supported our learning objectives effectively. I appreciate the clear instructions and quality of the materials. I would definitely recommend this product to other teachers and look forward to using more resources from this seller.

My students and I enjoyed this activity that got them out of their chairs to move around. The activity helped them figure out and use team-work to see the sequence of clues and answers. This type of activity was great and very much needed when students are antsy in their seats and need some movement.
Sarah Henning –
I love the “Corre” activities that get students out of their seats. I was afraid this might be too easy because students might figure out just to look for matching words in the sentence, but it worked out very well and exceeded my expectations. This took about 20-30 minutes of class time and was an excellent mix of challenging and comprehensible.
Irene C. –
Fun activity that allows student get off their seats.

Love this resource! I have purchased many “Corre en circulos” on different grammatical concepts and I am always very satisfied. No prep needed and super easy to set if I want my students to move around. It gives my students the ability to practice their conjugations but also move around (great especially after testing days).

I am a big Corre en Circulos fan, and this version was even better than I hoped. I loved that Srta Spanish has provided an option where students choose between ser and estar. I had a 7th-grade boy say, “Oh! This really helped me! I am getting it now!” — Anyone who teaches 7th grade knows what high praise that is.

I love using these activities for review. It may look easy when we do it on paper with notes but once students have to read an actual sentence it can be a bit challenging for them. Best game ever! The kids love it.
Nicholas C. –
This is a great activity to get students up and moving and it actually requires to choose the whether to use ser or estar correctly to finish the activity. This required some higher level thinking and is one of my favorite ways to address differences between ser and estar. This activity helped me ensure students were actually engaged in their learning instead of just copying down answers from a friend at the last minute. Students always love the opportunity to get up and get moving as well!

Love these; they make the students get up and move around. The first time they do this activity, it can get chaotic. It takes them a while for them to figure out the dynamic, but that makes for good collaboration within the class, and makes me run around and talk to everyone.
Isis T. –
great
Lisha S. –

This is great to get students up and moving.
Donna M. –
I really like the concept and idea of the game. I was disappointed that more of the reasons for using ser and estar were not addressed. Too many cards are used for the adjectives. Time, days, and the date are not even used. Also, there are no cards that use general or specific as examples. The only preposition used on the cards is “en”. Disappointed with the lack of variety with the cards, but love the concept of the game. I will use the blank card that was given to copy and add more sentences of my own.
Ashley Mikkelsen –
That’s a great point! I don’t teach ser and estar with any specific “rules”/”reasons”, but I agree that updating this resource would be helpful for teachers who do use things like DOCTOR and PLACE to help their students! If you’d like, email me at srtaspanishtpt AT gmail.com and I’d love to work with you to include some of the reasons you address with your students!
