Description

Get your students moving with this activity! Students answer the prompt, then find the answer around the room. When they find the answer, they go to it, and complete the next prompt, repeating until they have completed the circle! Some students like to race to see who can finish the loop fastest, others work at their own pace. Students can begin at any prompt and practice, checking their work as they go.

    I’m so amazed at how amazing this worked! Once the kids understood the instructions, this was a piece of cake for them to follow!
    The class period is 40 min but after a quick warm up and instructions, they ended up not having enough time to finish so it over laps into the next class (which isn’t bad!)

    I love all the circling activities. I like that they get the students out of their seats and that it’s self-checking (the activity doesn’t work if they’re getting answers wrong). The students enjoy the activity too, but for those who are physically lazy, they don’t like this so much. I always make sure that there is one student at each card before we begin (and in one class I had to assign where they start) so that groups of kids aren’t just following each other around.
