  15. Laura Tubayan –

Simple product/activity to get kids up and out of their seats. Minimal prep required.

  16. EdAventuras –

These corre activities are my absolute favorite. It gets kids up and moving, and thinking about a particular grammar or vocabulary objective. I usually do them after a day or two of using the topic. I particularly like these because there is so much practice with -ar verbs, then -er/-ir are not as strong.

  17. Melissa R. –

Good resource. My kids were engaged the whole hour.

  18. Stacy Roeschlein –

I love using this activity after introducing and practicing the verb forms the day before. The next day we review verb forms and then students are actively moving around completing “Corre en Círculos”. I allow students to work individually or in pairs. I have found that it helps students if I require them to write the bold verb form on the line right next to the number, then I require them to write the clue (for the next verb form) to the right side on the same line. This allows me to quickly check for errors if a student needs help and it helps the students stay organized. I love the idea of a digital form available also. Although, instead of using the Google Slides provided, I create my own “ordering” quiz on Canvas with this activity for those students who are absent and it grades itself. 🙂 I HIGHLY recommend all of her “Corre en Círculos”!

  19. Ashley Brown –

My students LOVE a scavenger hunt! I love ALL Corre en Circulos!

  20. Melissa R. –

I always love these scavenger hunts as a review for verb conjugations, and I appreciated that this has a digital option for students who were absent the day we completed the activity.

  21. Nicholas C. –

This is a great activity to get students up and moving and it actually requires to conjugate correctly to finish the activity. This activity helped me ensure students were actually engaged in their learning instead of just copying down answers from a friend at the last minute. Students always love the opportunity to get up and get moving as well!

  22. Hannah Vincent –

    great resource

  23. Juliana K. –

    Great!

  24. Alejandra C. –

I love using this activity with my students. This encourages them to speak to each other and interact with the language.

  25. Teach Outside the Book –

    Students love this activity!

  26. Lessie W. –

Okay, let me tell you about this! 🙂 Ha! This is the second “Corre en circulos” I’ve purchased from Sra. Spanish. This new “Corre” has a digital option which I LOVE!!!!!!! The digital option allows me to quickly check students’ work, and when I had three different groups telling me the “Corre” was defective, I could easily point out where the students had made a mistake. (When they make a mistake they assume it’s the activity not them. 🙂 )
    Soooooo —
Why do I like it? It’s a rote learning activity that many of my students need for verbs. It is a pair or individual activity, and can also even be distance learning. It’s easy for me to check their progress over their shoulders.
Why is it a challenge / frustration for some students? If the students don’t know at least some of their verb forms or haven’t learned them at all, this can be very, very frustrating. Also, my students have chrome books which don’t have mice — so figuring out how to move the slides with just their fingers can be a challenge for some of the less motivated.
Why do I like it in spite of the frustrations some students experience? I can minimize frustration by explaining how to move slides with fingers, how to view the grid and the single line, and reminding my students where their “cheat sheets”/review pages are to reference while they are working. I also explain how to use the activity to aid them in learning their forms. We also don’t do this activity often — it’s something new to break up the routine.
So do I like it overall? Very much. It’s a great activity for practicing verb forms. It’s something different and gives students a unique way to practice.
