Description
Get your students moving with this activity! Students answer the prompt, then find the answer around the room. When they find the answer, they go to it, and complete the next prompt, repeating until they have completed the circle! Some students like to race to see who can finish the loop fastest, others work at their own pace. Students can begin at any prompt and practice, checking their work as they go. Students will see a subject pronoun and a number. They will conjugate the verb tener and write the number word out. Ages range from 1-100 to get a variety of practice in! See the preview for a closer look! Included:
- Printable student sheet
- Printable puzzle
- Digital version of the puzzle for use with Google Slides
- Instructions for teacher use
- Answer Key
This puzzle includes a printable that’s excellent for getting your students up and moving, as well as a digital variation that is great to assign for absent students or during distance learning! Your students will love this puzzle!

At the beginning of the year, my students had a hard time understanding how Corre en Círculos works, so I always start with an easy one first. Once they get it, they absolutely love it! We now do one every other week, such a fun way to reinforce vocabulary!

Excellent practice for my students! Plus, it gets them up and moving around the room which keeps them engaged.

So we tried this digitaally and they were engganed but it was frustrating for some of them. Alot of them said they preferred for me to do it like a gallery walk instead so we are going to that this week.

Hi! It sounds like you’re not clear on how to play the game – the questions and the answers are not on the same page. Such a lifesaver! Didn’t have anything to account for a schedule change in the day. Bought this, put it up, and students still learned, even with more time than I had planned for that day.

This was quite challenging for my Spanish I kiddos at the beginning of the year. Make sure they are already seasoned on the verb “Tener” and their #’s — I used corre en circulos maybe as a way to “teach/recognize” at first… and it was a flop for me. Some kids FLEW! Others only were able to get a few done…?! Great resource/product/idea, will have to use again but later on in the year.
