Get your students moving with this activity! Students answer the prompt, then find the answer around the room. When they find the answer, they go to it, and complete the next prompt, repeating until they have completed the circle! Some students like to race to see who can finish the loop fastest, others work at their own pace. Students can begin at any prompt and practice, checking their work as they go.

My students enjoyed racing to see who could finish their circle first. This was a fun activity!
Julie T. –
As others have said, this is very useful for practicing or reviewing present-tense reflexive verbs. I’d love to see a higher-level version with different verb tenses, or even just a way for students to construct the sentences themselves rather than locating and copying the correct sentence.
I used this with my Spanish 3 classes on the Friday before Halloween, so it took to keep their attention. A game with movement and one extra credit point gave them enough buy-in to stay engaged!
Ashley Mikkelsen –
Ooooh mixing and matching tenses would be a great way to level up the difficulty! Thanks for the feedback. I do have an editable version of this game, too, if you’d like to be able to create your own versions for upper level students as you need!
Senora Lemus Tienda –

Audra B. –
Great activity to get your chit-chatty students to be quiet and focus! It’s also an activity that could be easily done with pairs if you wanted. My students got frustrated when they messed up and had to go back to find out where they went wrong (more practice!), but at the end, many of them said, “We should do things like this more often.”
Vanessa D. –
My students learned a lot from this activity. Great practice.
Isabella V. –
I am not lying when I say that I have 100% engagement in my classes when we do our corre en circulos activities. I have purchased a few versions and my students have even shared with me that it helps them with verb conjugations. This has become a weekly activity in my class, I would highly recommend it.
Sierra A. –

My hgh school Spanish 2 students loved getting up and moving in Spanish class for a change. They enjoyed getting immediate feedback on the answers, and dared to be wrong as they completed the reflexive verb conjugations. I’d love to use this type of activity for other class topics.
Ashley Mikkelsen –
I’m so glad to hear that your students enjoyed it and took risks in their language learning! I have sets of this game for many topics, and if there’s anything you’re looking for that you can’t find please just drop me a Q&A – I love making them! Thanks for your feedback!

Corre en circulos got my students all up and moving! It was great to see them working on reflexive verbs in a very unique way. I expected this to be a mediocre activity, and I was pleasantly surprised with how focused and determined the students were to finish! Thank you!
Hedieh N. –
Great practice – students are engaged, moving and thinking about their responses. We love “corre en circulos” as review.
SraDebbieB –
I liked this activity! Pictures always make it more challenging, which the kids need once they’ve mastered the art of Corre en Círculos. On that note, I want to mention that though I’ve been using these for a few years, I was always missing something in my instructions. This year, I showed your video, and no problems whatsoever for the kids understanding what to do.
BeefyBeth –
I wanted to try the digital version, but it would not let me link it to Google Classroom for my students. Can you send me a message about how to do this?
Thank you!
Beth
Lora T. –
The “Corre en círculos” activities are wonderful practice for students. I made up a Google form for students to type the answers to this activity that required correct spelling, etc. It is a good additional step for students who don’t look closely at their answers.
Miranda S. –
This was a great review activity for my students.
Sandra R. –
Great time-saving resource! Students really needed more review on everything (skills and vocab/grammar) this past year so this was a helpful addition to our review/unit. Like that they have to get up and moving. Thank you for your hard work.
Meghan K. –
My students and I love “Corre en Círculos” days, they get to move and practice/self-check, I can just monitor progress and redirect when they get stuck. They tend to make it a team effort which is fine because then they use each other instead of me to find the next stop and they all write. I split the class in half for COVID measures and they HATED if I called time and they weren’t through the whole list, definitely one of the best activities I use with my groups!
Senorita Garcia –
