Students begin with recording what they already know about the two holidays on a KWL chart. Then, students write down what they wonder about the two – what questions do they have? Next, students read facts about the two holidays and decide which it best describes. Finally, students record what they learned on their graphic organizer! You can either have students cut out the pieces (they’re pre-scrambled!) or just have them record which fact describes which holiday.
Included:
- Know, Want to know, Learn graphic organizer
- Page for students to organize facts (Halloween/Día de los Muertos)
- 14 facts associated with one of the two holidays
- Answer key
- Digital versions of the student pages for use with Google Slides
