Description
Reinforce family vocabulary with the perfect combination of activities!
First, get your students up and engaged around the room with ¡Corre en Círculos!. This print and go activity gets your students moving while providing instant feedback to help them learn! Students can begin at any prompt and practice, checking their work as they go.
Then, use the Laberinto activity for a fast finisher or a homework assignment to reinforce the skills. These maze activities give students engaging practice in choosing the correct vocabulary! Correct answers lead them closer to the end of the maze, while incorrect answers can wind up in a dead-end, forcing students to revisit their answers and think about things again!
There are two different mazes included so your students could do this once in class and once for homework – or, you could have them do it once in class, and once as an assessment! However, you choose what works for your classroom!

My students really liked this activity set. The only challenge was the family members “Corre en circulos” had A LOT of terms and some kids ended up getting frustrated and gave up. BUT it was still very engaging for all kids. Happy to get the up and moving! These are great activities to keep student in the TL.

La Estrellita Spanish –
I used this maze as an optional activity for fast-finishers in my middle school Spanish I classroom. They were very motivated to complete it. It was slightly challenging but not too hard. I appreciate that it only included the main family vocabulary (for example, it did not include great-grandparents, brother-in-law, etc.). My students who completed this really enjoyed doing it!
