Description
Save yourself time and get your students speaking with these practices for el tiempo! This presentation is for practicing weather with days of the week. The vocabulary should be a review for students. The phrase “¿Qué tiempo hace?” is introduced first, then students complete more practices asking each other what the weather is like on a certain day, looking at the calendar and describing the weather according to the picture on the slide.

The presentation is editable with Google Slides so you can change words to match your curriculum if needed! I also added the speaker notes to the slides to explain how I use this lesson in my classroom. After the partner practice, get students up and speaking Spanish with a Human Bingo activity! Students try and find others to fill out their sheets asking each other questions. Each student can only sign another’s paper one time! These sentences focus on GUSTAR structures (me/te/le) with WEATHER vocabulary- perfect for novices. There is also a follow up written activity for students to write sentences using the information from their classmates in the third person.
