Hi Michelle,
Did you happen to see the notes page I’ve included in the download where it clarifies that the incorrect answers on the maze paths are purposeful? This is for a few reasons:
1) If every option on the maze was correct, students could not find their way to the end (similar to a multiple choice worksheet where every answer is D. All of the above).
2) It is used for an extension on the differentiated version of the worksheet – students complete the maze, then go back and complete the boxes they didn’t use on their path, ignoring the options and doing it as a fill in the blank question (this is clarified in the instructions and on the notes).
Pages 3, 8, and 11 of your download explain this – students are not to use those options as they complete the extension activity and they are used to “dead end” the way through the maze.
If you found an error that does not correspond to the reasons I explained above, my email address is listed in the file download, and I’m happy to make corrections if there’s something I’ve missed when I’ve used this with my own classes over the years!
Feel free to reach out to me via the Q&A feature, or my email address if there’s anything else. Otherwise, I’d love if you’d take another look at the resource and consider updating your feedback.
Thanks!
Ashley
