This was so fun for my 8th graders. They hate to admit it, but they love Valentine’s Day. These activities helped me to tie in the day while still working on Spanish.

My students enjoyed some “down time” making Valentine’s Day cards and completing the other activities in stations. Instead of doing “regular work”, the students got to practice using their Spanish skills by doing all the activities instead. They had fun and didn’t seem to realize they were working at improving their Spanish language skills at the same time! Thank you for a nice change of pace for me and my students!
