Description
Reinforce telling time in Spanish with the perfect combination of activities!
First, get your students up and engaged around the room with ¡Corre en Círculos!. This print and go activity gets your students moving while providing instant feedback to help them learn! Students can begin at any prompt and practice, checking their work as they go.
Then, use the Laberinto activity for a fast finisher or a homework assignment to reinforce the skills. These maze activities give students engaging practice in choosing the correct time! Correct answers lead them closer to the end of the maze, while incorrect answers can wind up in a dead-end, forcing students to revisit their answers and think about things again!
There are two different mazes included so your students could do this once in class and once for homework – or, you could have them do it once in class, and once as an assessment! However, you choose what works for your classroom!

I truly don’t think that I’ve ever purchased anything from you that I didn’t immediately love. It makes my job so much easier to just print and go. It keeps the students engaged and moving, which I love!
You should make a version without the “menos” – as some teachers don’t teach that anymore, but that’s a really small thing. 🙂 Thank you for a great resource!

Telling time can sometimes be difficult for students since they are used to only being familiar with a digital clock via their iPhones and Apple watches, but this lesson makes it fun and easy to follow and learn. My kids respond well to these lessons.

These things kept my 8th grade Spanish I students engaged at the end of the year, which is saying a lot. I used these during our school unit when we were learning how to say the time in Spanish. Students liked the puzzle mazes because it was the first time we had done them in Spanish class, and they had done something similar in math class. It was easy to check their work with the answer key. The Corre en Círculos was also a hit. It added in movement and novelty (it was their first time doing this activity), which is so important at the end of the school year. I gave candy to the first 5 students who got all the times written in the correct order, and then moved on after that. Thank you for the engaging resources!

These were great follow-up activities that allowed the students to get comfortable with the format for telling time. The students to work independently and I was able to easily post it on GC for my remote students.

I used “Corre en círculos” to help my students practice telling time. It was also a good movement activity in between instruction. Students worked in pairs and I heard them having good discussion. They helped each other out whenever one misread the time, and explained the correct answer. As my students roamed around the room, I asked if the activity was good practice, and they all said ‘yes’. I plan to use the maze when we return from Thanksgiving break as a review and for practice.

I used the Maze Activity for Telling Time practice while we were 100% virtual. Students enjoyed the maze and GREATLY APPRECIATE the keys as we could immediately use for review and feedback to clarify times that students may often confuse. Thanks for the CREATIVE electronic activity!!
