I love starting my class with these daily routines. It is a great resource for bell ringers.

  2. Olivia Cooper –

Cute resource to change up the format of weekend chat. Thank you.

  3. Just the Teaching –

I liked the resource for weekend chat but found that it was something that I couldn’t use frequently because it would be very repetitive. Repetitive isn’t a bad thing. I still gave this resource 5 stars because I think that had I used it with lower-level students, I would have been able to use it more- that is my issue, not the issue of the seller! If you are looking to purchase this resource, I think it is best suited for novice students but could be used once or twice during the year with intermediate low/mid students.

  4. Noemi S. –

These is a great resource for weekend chats with concurrent learning! The simple thumbs up/thumbs down works for students in-person and at-home to answer. I made a few modifications (thanks for making it editable!) just to reflect the different times we are in (instead of asking if they ate at a restaurant or traveled, I asked if they cooked or talked on the phone with ______ ). Thank you!

  43. dequeismo –

My students (especially 6th and 7th graders) LOVED doing this daily in the beginning of the semester. When we sometimes had to skip it for time, they would BEG to fit it in another time anyway. Within a week or 2, I had students using the language from these slides with me outside of class – completely unprompted!

  44. Sharae G. –

I added timers to each slide and I asked a few questions each day. On Monday, we spoke in the past and on Friday we spoke in the near future. Easy to use and you can edit if you want to add more questions.

    So helpful for my students!

  55. Anne W. –

This is so great for using on Monday or Friday classes. I used it right away and got a positive response with lots of input and output. I copied and added a slide with all of the responses together so we could see them in one slide and see who would say yes to which prompts. Thanks!

  56. Kayty R. –

Love this! I am gonna add in future tense and Monday and Friday will be covered!
