To use Boom Cards, you must be connected to the Internet. Boom Cards play on modern browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge). Apps are available for Android, iPads, iPhones, and Kindle Fires. For security and privacy, adults must have a Boom Learning account to use and assign Boom Cards. You will be able to assign the Boom Cards you are buying with “Fast Pins,” (play provides instant feedback for self-grading Boom Cards). Fast Play is always a free way for students to engage with Boom Cards decks. For additional assignment options you’ll need a premium account. These were great practice for my students! I loved the variety of the cards and they looked professional. There were a few sentence formation cards that didn’t have a capital letter for the beginning of the sentence…my students struggled with that. It was nice for them to have that clue on the cards that contained a capital letter.

Por and para is always sooooo hard. My students did well with this. They really hate that the period and accent marks make their answer completely wrong because they have a hard time figuring out what they did that was incorrect. Was it just an accent or something actually grammatical. But, I graded it so that if they got 30 out of 40 correct they still got a 100% as long as they had attempted all cards.
