TeachMoreSpanish Winter Ebook

The #TeachMoreSpanish tag on Instagram is one of my favorite Spanish teacher communities! It’s full of fun posts and connections from other teachers. For the third year in a row, some of the teachers behind the TeachMoreSpanish Winter Ebook group put together a winter ebook of freebies that are perfect for this time of year! Every time this ebook rolls around, it feels like a little gift from teachers to teachers. The ideas are practical, creative, and actually classroom-ready. No fluff, just resources that work. It is a great reminder that we are part of an inspiring and generous community.

She chose resources from the 2019 TeachMoreSpanish ebook and set them up in stations for her students to use, along with some other activities such as FVR and puzzles from Sr. Wooly! The variety kept students moving, thinking, and engaged while still allowing for meaningful language input. It was the perfect mix of festive fun and structured practice. Using the ebook this way also gave her the flexibility to differentiate and let students work at their own pace. Plus, it made lesson planning easier during a notoriously hectic time of year. Win-win for both students and teacher!

While some of the stations are to learn about the holidays, many of them are simply great for winter time! You could use these stations any time in December or January (or, if you live in the northern Midwest, like me, possibly into May!).
