We made tomatillos out of red paper with vocabulary on them and then went and threw them around for a minute and then matched the tomatillos up. The reading and activities this resource provides are great and the students LOVED it!

    I used this during our Apple Festival to take a look at another festival. The students liked it. Because I wanted to do it in one day, we used the English version in Sp2 (we don’t start Spanish till 9th grade). The students were confused because the text says it takes place between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., but then says the fight lasts only 1 hour. Other than that this is a great teaching tool especially with the activity available in both English and Spanish. A steal for the price!
