SraDebbieB –
I appreciated the different levels with the readings and answer keys. It was fun to learn about.

I used a lot of the information from this source for my Tomatina unit.

Creating a supplemental unit for when there’s a sub, and this is a great resources. Thanks
Krystal H. –

I bought the bundle, unsure if I would use all the components. We started with the interactive map, which used English (along with pictures and videos) to introduce students to La Tomatina. Then we moved on to the BOOM cards, which presented very similar information, but this time used Spanish. I ended up not using the worksheets with the reading because it was the same information and questions, word for word. My students stayed engaged, and I liked how they were able to understand the Spanish better, because they already had an understanding of it from the English activities on the interactive map. We ended the class with a fun little activity involving crumpled red construction paper. Overall, a very helpful resource for presenting La Tomatina!

Had my fourth graders research and present information on La Tomatina, this was a great resource for them to use and to gather their thoughts and help them with their own presentations.
Laura L. –

Jillian O. –
Great for distance and in-person learning- especially for sub plans!
Sra Ramos –
A great resource to integrate culture in a Distance learning format.
Maria C. –
This was a life saver. Easy to use lesson plan for a sub during distance learning. The students enjoyed getting to do something interactive and La Tomatina always causes some fun reactions for students to share and discuss. I used the Google Maps (tip: have your IT unblock the link – luckily I did so with plenty of notice) and questions then assigned the BOOM cards for homework. Thank you!
