I just purchased some Boom Cards on Día de los Muertos. I cannot get the free account to work. It keeps saying that I must sign in as a teacher. I did that through my gmail through my school. Anyway, it also says that only 50 kids can use it. You have to make an Educator sign in according to the the seller….It seems to be a lot for little gain (and being in a hurry). Never used and seller did not respond to repeated requests of a refund! THUMBS DOWN.
Ashley Mikkelsen –
Hey Margaret! I did reply to multiple emails – I haven’t heard from you on my last response. I have submitted a ticket to Boom on your behalf and had recommended you do the same – I can’t control their log in system and when I complete a ticket on your behalf they talk to me and I answer for you (which I have been doing) but they’re waiting to hear from you, too!

I am new to BOOM cards. I realized after purchasing that they are not editable. I wish I had the ability to delete and/or re-work some of the cards. I loved the flowers-into-the-baskets activity and colors with papel picado. I also liked that students get to see their DDM altar becoming more colorful as they complete tasks. Great idea for a fun review of basic Spanish topics!
