Bring culture into your novice classes! Students will view 10 different class schedules from several different countries. They will then choose two schedules to look at more closely and make comparisons between the two. You can choose before giving the assignment if you want them to answer the prompts in Spanish or English, and if you’d prefer them to fill out a Venn diagram, a table comparing the schools, or both! Students will find themselves drawn into comparing schedules. You can easily take this resource and use it for several class periods if you find your students wanting to discuss the similarities and differences more closely! This is a resource for use Google Drive. Please make sure you have a Google Drive account to use this product.
