To complete this lesson, students need access to a device such as a laptop or tablet. They will need access to Google My Maps and the videos are embedded using a Youtube player. If you choose to use the digital interactive activities, those are hosted on Google Slides, or you can print the comprehension activities instead!

Cinco de Mayo Lesson Plan

This Cinco de Mayo webquest lesson works great with 6th-12th grade students, in exploratory, Spanish 1, and Spanish 2 classes. I have never tried a virtual field trip with elementary students, but if you teach upper elementary and have students who are very comfortable with technology, you might try it with your upper elementary students. This fit well in a 45-50 minute class period, but if your classes are much longer, you might like this plan instead!
