These activities give your students practice in choosing and forming sentences with saber and conocer in the present tense in Spanish.

Get your students up and moving with a scavenger hunt, then help them puzzle through two different mazes! The variety of activities will help your students master this concept!

Sample Outline for your Saber vs Conocer Lesson:

1. Introduce how to play ¡Corre en Círculos! Review Game.
2. Students play the self-correcting scavenger hunt style game
3. When they finish, students turn in the first saber vs. conocer worksheet and pick up the maze saber vs conocer worksheets!
4. You choose if you want your students to do the easier or more difficult version of the maze, and if you want them to do one, or both!

Both resources give students feedback as they will see clearly if they’ve hit a dead end in the maze or skipped a step in the scavenger hunt. Easy grading for you!

    I really like this activity. There are a few errors with accents – María/dónde – and punctuation – ¿Tú..la guitarra. Also, with sports, it is more common to say “jugar al” whatever game or sport.
