  1. Chris L. –

I used this activity around the winter/New Year season, and my students really enjoyed it. It was a great way to incorporate culture and creativity into the classroom while keeping students engaged. The final products also worked well for a bulletin board display, which added a nice visual element to the classroom. Easy to implement and a great seasonal activity—I would definitely use it again!

  2. Victoria O. –

I love how students can make this unique to their own lives.

  3. Brooke D. –

I was able to use the English reading with my Exploratory level classes and the Spanish reading with my Level 1a. I paired it with some You Tube videos I have used in the past so students could view this tradition. It was a great way to start back after our winter break.

  4. karla N. –

This was a fun activity to do with students as a way to ease them back into school routines after the winter break.

  9. Anne R. –

Great resource to use around the holidays to teach about 12 grapes at midnight in Spain on NYE.

  10. LeeAnn G. –

This has differentiated spaces to write your resolutions as deseos. You need only find a youtube video of a clock chiming to try the” grapes at midnight” experience. I used marshmallows instead. The reading is really a great way to begin second semester year. I paired it with horoscopes and we had a fun, culturally focused week to begin our semester.

  11. Jael G. –
