Introduce direct object pronouns to your students with this short reading! This deck includes a short, past-tense reading of a basic version of the folk story “Stone Soup”. It’s about 150 words long so it’s not too overwhelming for your students and has a glossary to support them as well! Students read and listen to the recording of the story as they go. In between, they complete questions to check for understanding of the story. When they finish reading, there are a few more practices to complete to reinforce the direct object pronouns found in the story!
This resource includes comprehension activities in Spanish for students to complete while reading the story. The questions help them focus on understanding what’s going on! They are able to navigate forward and back to re-read if needed.
