After the reading, students create another type of soup, left to the whims of a die and chance! They roll a die to find out if the ingredient is added or not, then write a sentence using a direct object pronoun. Finally, they draw a picture to illustrate the final soup!
The resource also includes a page of notes giving ideas for how to use the resource in your classroom with a variety of reading activities, as well as brief ideas for a spoken follow up activity!
