If you’re using the printable puzzle option, start by printing the file. Tape the sheets in random order around the room – or have your students do it!
When I travel between rooms so I usually just set the sheets and a few things of tape by the door. Students know they are expected to help with set up by grabbing a sheet or two, then attaching it to an appropriate space on the walls.

If you’re using the digital puzzle, you’ll just share the file with your students in your school’s learning management system, like Canvas or Google Classroom.

How to Play this Irregular Preterite Verbs Spanish Review Game
To play this game, students answer the prompt, then find the answer around the room. When they find the answer, they go to it, and complete the next prompt, repeating until they have completed the circle! Some students like to race to see who can finish the loop fastest, others work at their own pace. Students can begin at any prompt and practice, checking their work as they go.

How to Correct this Irregular Preterite Verbs Spanish Review Game
The great thing about the Corre en Círculos review game is that it’s basically auto correcting. Students get instant feedback as they play the scavenger hunt game because if they get back to a piece they’ve done before, they know they did something wrong. Likewise, if they get to where they started before they complete all the spaces on their handout, they know they did something wrong and they have to re-trace their steps!
