I needed one more activity to review irregular present tense verbs, and this was perfect! I loved that it also fit with the time of year we were at, getting ready to talk about Día de los Muertos. Even if it’s not that time of year, it still allows for the segue into-what are we coloring and why? as well as the grammar review!

My students really enjoyed coloring and reviewing these verbs.

My students love coloring even though they are 11th graders! I love that this activity also used the Dia de los Muertos theme. Great resource to practice the high frequency verbs!

Love the focus on the high frequency verbs! Great for a sub day as well!

This is an excellent resource when you need a sub plan, or just a quiet, independent activity. They love to color 🙂

My students loved this coloring exercise while we were doing other día de los muertos activities also. This was a good practice for them to see the conjugation of the verbs and to match them up with subject pronouns. I used only TENER and SER in my SP1 class, but included the stem changers and ESTAR for SP2.

Mis estudiantes lo disfrutaron. ¡Gracias!

I love this idea! I had never thought of reviewing conjugation in this way, but the students love it! It was the perfect addition to my sub binder. If I have to be absent, I can just quickly select a few. I love all of the options. I assign a different one to each member of the same table, so they cannot look at anyone else’s paper 😉

These were a great review activity and fun as well for my students. Gracias

This helps students who have a hard time deciding which colors to choose. 🙂
I like that it engages them with prior knowledge about verbs, complements other cultural activities, and keeps them occupied quietly. 🙂
