    I can’t rave enough about how great this was! We didn’t use the Boom cards, but I might use that later. We did the gallery walk paper version , and they used a two sided worksheet that’s included and I copied off. I used the English version of “find someone who….” For my Spanish 1s and the Spanish version for Spanish 2s. Then the back of the worksheet had the part where they could tweak the sentences to be about them…. Perfect scaffolding. I think the kids felt successful or I did for them that they were reading and understanding whole paragraphs In Spanish! And it went along with our content perfectly! The digital slides I was able to easily post in Google classroom for absent kids. A++++++++

    I printed these and then hung them up in the hallway spaced out. Students paired up and moved around trying to complete their scavenger hunt. Most of them successfully completed it within 15-20 minutes. I gave my more advanced students the Spanish version of the hunt. Thanks for giving us the 2 options.

    I loved the readings. I gave different sets to my students. I did a guided reading activity, they underlined words that they easily reconize, looked for cognates, and got the main idea if their passages.
    The picturees/drawimgs also helped them to understand the descrition of the person they were reading sbout. I really liked this set.

    ¡Estoy muy feliz! I cannot say enough how excited I was to find this resource! It AMAZINLGY had literally everything I was trying to create on my own for a project about horarios. I absolutely LOVE that there are so many opportunities for comprehensible input and the work is scaffolded to bring students to the final pages of writing their own sentences. Literally this resource was in my mind but I was having trouble putting it down on paper, so to speak. I was concerned that the sheer number of slides would scare my students but we went over the expectations together and I felt this would be a better assessment than a test!     I use this resource with my students during Learn from home. They had to translate the material and because of the variety, I was able to assign different classes, different sets of translations. After they were done I had them create a personal schedule following the example worksheet. Once that was done they recorded themselves on Flipgrid to practice saying the vocabulary. Gracias

    I have used this kind of activity before with great success. When we started covering school, I was excited to put this info practice. I printed out the biographies, made copies of the “Look for someone who…” activity and then my school suddenly shut down. I was able to send some copies to my students who have no internet, and later used the readings as a way to engage with my students on Google Docs. Thanks for such a fun and engaging resource!
