If you’re teaching middle school or high school Spanish 1, you probably have a mix of students between 6th grade to 10th grade – maybe even some juniors and seniors! Let’s look at some activities for your lesson plans that are great 7th grade Spanish worksheets and resources!
Maze Worksheets in Spanish
How often do you hear the words “fun worksheet” together? This fits the bill! These maze worksheets are a great option for your 7th grade Spanish class! You can use them as a one page worksheet or print double sided and give both to students right away. They are great for independent work, a quick formative assessment, or even station activities!
How it Works:
- Print & make copies, or assign the digital version
- Students read the question in the first box
- They choose the correct answer and follow that path through the maze
- Repeat until they get to the end
Along the way there are purposeful dead-ends in the maze. This is a great way to encourage critical thinking and makes these sheets self correcting as students have to retrace their steps until they find the correct answer. ¡Corre en Círculos! Spanish Scavenger Hunt Worksheets
The ¡Corre en Círculos! Review Game is one of my middle school students’ all time favorite review games! Print, cut and hang the clues around the room. Then, students use the worksheet to test their language skills in a fun way. Students read the Spanish words or prompt on the clue card, record their answer, then search around the room until they find it on the next clue card! This is such a fun game to add to your lesson plans in middle school and high school Spanish classrooms.
In the example above, students are working on answering the question “¿Cuántos años tienes?” by reading the prompt in the subject pronoun / number on the bottom of the page. They respond by recording a sentence in Spanish, then find their answer hung around the room!

Gallery Walk Reading Passages
As you’re looking for ways to work on your students’ reading language skills, you can’t forget gallery walks! These are a low prep option for you as you just print the comprehensible reading passages and students complete the comprehension questions and activities. The topics include a variety of themes such as groups of famous people, family members, school vocabulary, sports, and more! There are sets for just about every unit you teach.
You can also use the Boom Cards and Google Slides linked in the PDF file for a quick online assessment in your unit!

Roll a Story Creative Writing Worksheets
If your 7th grade students are comfortable with story telling and high frequency verbs, you will love this creative writing activity for secondary Spanish class!
Students roll a die to determine key elements of their story, then use the scaffolding pages to help them write a story in Spanish! They finish the worksheets with a final draft and illustration of their story.
