I love Thanksgiving! It’s one of my favorite holidays, if not my absolute favorite! What is there to dislike about a holiday about being thankful, being with loved ones, and eating delicious food? I know it’s not a super common holiday to include in Spanish class, but I have always tended toward including things my students enjoy and doing those topics IN Spanish. And at this point in the school year, we could all use a rest, reset, some fun, and gratitude. So, grab your pumpkin spice latte and let’s look at some Thanksgiving bulletin board ideas for Spanish class!

Drawing in Spanish Class Thanksgiving Bulletin Board Ideas
Maybe art isn’t your main subject area, but it’s fun to cross over every now and then! In my Drawing in Spanish Class blog post, I shared a Youtube channel where the creator makes how to draw videos as she speaks in Spanish at a novice student’s level. You just need some white paper and markers. It’s a great way to include a simple art project in your lesson plans! Check out this video for her “Pavo de Gracias” fall art project. She also has a “Dibujo una calabaza” video you could use to post as a fall classroom bulletin board and turn it into a little pumpkin patch!
